- 1997-2012. History, Drama and English teacher at St. Francis Xavier College, Beaconsfield, Victoria. I have been at this school since 1997. During my time at St. Francis Xavier College I was English coordinator in 2002 & 2003. I taught VCE Australian History from 1997-2003, as well as Twentieth Century History, English, SOSE and Drama at all levels from 7-12 and VCAL literacy in 2011/12. In 2004 & 2005 I taught at the Junior Campus of the school, and was heavily involved in curriculum development in this new campus. While at this campus I developed a student extra-curricula drama group and coordinated a theatre sports event. In 2006 I returned to the senior campus with a desire to bring excellence to teaching. During my time at SFXC, I have been involved in many committees, directed the school play, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and edited three school magazines. In 2009 and 2010 I directed two original versions of “Romeo and Juliet” and “Pygmalion” to acclaim from audiences.
- 1991-1996. English, History and Drama teacher at Flinders Christian Community College. Taught English 10‑12, Australian Studies at 11, History at years 7, 8 and Drama 7—12.. Have coordinated the middle school (9,10) for three years from 1991‑1993. Produced five original theatrical productions for the school involving staff and students. Participated in the curriculum development committee in 1994 and the music development committee in 1995. I was the Special Events Coordinator for the school from 1995—1996.
- 1988-1990. English, Drama and History teacher at Donvale Christian School. Taught English at grades 9‑11, History at 8 and 11, and English Literature at 12, as well as Drama at 7-12. I was coordinator of the History program, Year 8 coordinator and heavily involved in the development of VCE English, Drama and History at its inception. Also coordinated school productions and pioneered the development of Drama as a subject in the school.
